The Dreadnought is a ship that roams the deserts of a distant planet, catching sand monsters with its grappling hook and hunting them down.
It dives into the sand to remain stealthy and breaks out of dunes to use the element of surprise for its advantage.
The Borderlands games, the Dune movie and also Mad Max: Fury Road where an inspiration for creating this concept which carries the possibility to build a game around it.
In this project I focused on mechanical rigging and animation, cloth simulations and particle systems as well as shifting my focus in a less realisitc and more anime/cartoon direction.
